Quality control, testing of coal and coke
Coal and coke testing for ash, volatile matter, sulfur, calorific value and other parameters, with a test report or conclusion.
The Chemical Research Center tests coal, coke and activated carbon for manufacturers, importers, suppliers and other customers who need reliable information about solid-fuel quality and properties. The programme is selected with regard to the sample type, purpose of the study and applicable normative documents.
Parameters studied
Depending on the task, the study may include:
- ash content;
- volatile matter yield;
- sulfur content;
- calorific value;
- moisture and other quality parameters under an agreed programme.
The final list of tests is confirmed after the sample, customer requirements and supplied normative documents have been reviewed.
Result for the customer
Upon completion, the customer receives a test report or a conclusion, depending on the purpose of the study and the agreed output format. The document contains the results, information about the methods used and explanations relevant to the stated task.
